Does World of Warships allow mods? ›

The program will detect all World of Warships clients installed on your PC upon its launch. Current mods can be installed only for the most up-to-date game version. In ModStation, each mod is presented with a preview image.

You're probably already aware that almost every ship in our game has access to one or several module upgrades. These are a crucial component of ship management, as they can enhance each ship's performance and your overall game experience.

Engaging in battles will also earn you Commander XP, allowing you to level up your Commanders and gain skill points. You can speed up this process using Elite Commander XP and Free XP. The overall matrix consists of 116 skills, with 24 per ship type (except submarines, which have 20 skills).

There are multiple types of battles available in World of Warships: Legends. Most of them allow players to fight each others, some make them fight bots, and sometimes both.

If you want to play with a group doing PVP, the other players might get upset with you and kick you out of their game. As noted, be careful with the save game editor...it can suck the fun right out of the game for you. As a modder for NMS no you can't get banned.

Legal and Banned Mods

Check they are removed or disabled BEFORE you enter such a game - or you may find yourself disqualified, your team knocked out and your account banned.... For the casual player, including Clan Wars, and server wide tank companies and tournaments, almost all Mods are acceptable.

A ship's Commander is more than just an avatar; the difference they can make in battle means that it's crucial to choose and train your Commander wisely.

Contrary to some player claims, most premium ships are not a pay-to-win button in the form of a boat that is objectively better than others of the same tier.

How do you identify bots in World of Warships? ›

A: The bots can be identified by a colon ':' symbol at the start of their username. They will also have an emblem that is unique and exclusive to them.

Players fight at the helms of Tier VI and VIII submarines in a team of seven. Your objective is to break through the lines of escorting warships and destroy the transport ships before they are able to reach their destination point and meet with reinforcements.

A Training Room allows players to generate fully custom scenarios on a map of their choice, choosing the duration of the game, the team configurations, and even the exact number of ships on each team. Unbalanced teams are allowed.

Players can customize a ship to their liking and stand out from other players while getting a boost in battle.

Modded consoles have been cited as an avenue for video game piracy, both by allowing unauthorized copies to be played, and by circumventing DRM. Legal homebrew video games and backup copies can be played on modified systems, but the argument of piracy remains.
