Jessicawas knownto beextremely compassionatetoward everyone. She always putothersbeforeherself, so muchthatshededicatedher careeras aLicensedMental HealthCounselor (LMHC)for over7 years. For the past 5 years,Jessica worked for Hope House. In thattime,she touched countless lives. She was a fierce advocate for clients and a mentor and friend to staff. Jessica was aknowledgeable and skilled clinician and genuine in her love forworkand belief that recovery wasattainable for everyone. Her quick wit andfrequently unfiltered thoughts were a welcome reprieve during theworkdayand her presence made an often tireless and thankless job fun and enjoyable for her coworkers.

Jessica was alsopassionateabout preserving her Italian family’s heritage and culture. Shewas always the center of laughter, music, food, and family gatherings.She was the best daughter, sister,sister-in-law,aunt,cousin,nieceand granddaughter that her family had.Shewas dedicatedto caring for her parents, grandparents and other relatives thatneeded help or just needed company, especially to share homemade Italian escarole and beans. She also absolutely loved children.She adored her nieces,Sofiaand Madeline DeMarco, as though they were her own children.She brought crafts, projects,treats, gifts, and jokesand alwayshad something in her hand to offer.Jessica was alsolike an older sister to the Slovak family’s children,doing simple things likeplayingcard games, eatingleft overChinesefood, andgoing onbeachvacations. She was always thereto listen or give advice.She was also like a sister to her cousinandtheAguilar family, always ready to welcome them to town when they wouldvisit,and she would make herself availableand was always ready to create family memories together.Her positive impactandmemory will be everlasting.

Jessica is survived by her family: two parents Joseph and Josefina (Pina) DeMarco; siblings Dan (Gina) and Christopher; nieces Sofia and Madeline DeMarco; and grandmother, Luisa Caporaso. She was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, Felice Caporaso, and paternal grandparents, John and Giuseppina DeMarco.
