Surviving in Medieval Dynasty can be tough; you need to provide basic necessities for your villagers, as well as earn money each year so you can pay taxes. With enough production technology points, you will be able to build a Sewing Hut, where you can make threads and fabrics.

Although there are only two types of fabrics available, it may be confusing to make them at first. In this guide, we are going to go over each of these fabrics, including how to make them and what to do with them. First, let's take a look at how to make linen thread and fabric.
Linen
Linen thread and fabric are made from flax stalk, which you can grow in a farmland plot. Both of these materials are used in different crafting recipes, so let's take a look at linen thread first.
Linen Thread
You can craft one linen thread with 10 flax stalks at the spinning wheel inside the Sewing Hut. The spinning wheel will be available once the construction of the hut is complete; you do not have to unlock this workstation.
The scheme for linen thread will unlock once you reach 100 crafting tech points, and can be purchased directly from the spinning wheel menu for 50 coins. To level up your crafting tech points, you will need to craft other objects. For more information, be sure to check out our guide on crafting.
Once the scheme for linen thread is unlocked, all you need to do is interact with the sewing wheel and choose linen thread. Below, you can check out what to do with this thread. Several items that require linen thread also require linen fabric, so we will go over those items later.

As mentioned above, you can use one linen thread to craft one linen fabric. Similar to linen thread, the scheme for fabric will unlock once you have 100 crafting tech points and can be purchased for 50 coins.
Linen fabric can be produced at the loom, which is also inside the sewing hut. Below, you can check out all the recipes that use linen fabric.

Wool
Wool is produced by adult sheep that reside in a fold. This is an animal husbandry building that will unlock once you have 2,500 farming technology points. Once you have enough points, you can place and build a fold with the following materials.
- 21 Logs
- 62 Sticks
- 32 Straw
Sheep can be purchased from Lubomira in Barnica. With sheep and a fold, you can assign a villager to collect wool for you every day. It's important to know that you will not be able to collect wool by yourself; only an assigned villager can collect wool for you.
Wool Thread
You can make one wool thread with 10 pieces of wool a the spinning wheel in the Sewing Hut.
The scheme for wool thread will unlock once you have 750 crafting tech points, making wool a more advanced material than linen. Additionally, you will need to build Sewing Hut II to use wool. After you have enough tech points, you can then build the upgraded sewing hut and purchase the scheme for 250 coins.
Below, you can check out the items that can be crafted with wool thread.
