*Wawrinka 6-4 5-4 Murray
And next point Murray cruises to a hold to 15. He's growing into this one, but will still have to face Wawrinka serving for the second set after the change of ends.

Andy Murray's loving the drop shot at the moment. He hits two sliced winners in a row and then forces an error to go up 40-15 on serve.

Agree with Catie?
Not sure I do. If Andy Murray's happy, I'm happy.

I commend Murray for wanting to carry on but I think it’s time for him to hang up his tennis rackets. It feels like he’s going out on a whimper, which is a shame as it doesn’t reflect what he has a achieved. He has so much to be proud of.

Wawrinka races into a 40-0 lead before winding up the first double fault of the match.

*Wawrinka 6-4 4-3 Murray
Stan Wawrinka gets it back to 30-30, but then chucks over a long return. 40-30, will Murray get out of this game?
He thinks he's fired an ace but a let is called. Murray asks if the machine is faulty and is then surprised to hear there's no net-call robot at the French Open.
No lets? No problem. Murray serves and volleys next up to cut the deficit to 4-3 in the second set.

BBC Sport at Roland GarrosWe know how Murray feeds off the energy of a crowd and now he is starting to gee up Chatrier.
He drags Wawrinka around the court before sticking away a volley, drawing a clap of the racquet from his opponent and a loud ovation from the fans.
Murray asks for the volume to be turned up and stay loud.

After that last winner Andy Murray raised his hands to the crowd, asking for more. There's a great noise on Chatrier now.

Wawrinka 6-4 4-2 Murray*
I can't see Wawrinka dropping. He's in the zone now.
That said, Murray takes the next point with a drop shot, and then has Wawrinka dancing around the court, lobbing the Swiss before volleying at the net.

Murray keeps the game alive with a winner at the net. But it only delays the inevitable as Wawrinka holds to 30 with a backhand down the line.

Murray then misses a drop-shot to fall to 30-15.

Back to it and boom! Wawrinka fires over a powerful backhand winner that has Andy Murray rooted. It seems like Murray's always on the defensive, chasing rather than dictating.
He gets the crowd to roar in his favour again though after he smashes a forehand winner on the run. 15-15.

This contest can now officially be filed in the ‘Murray under the lights’ genre. A classic of its time.
Nowhere near late-night blockbuster levels yet, though.
The atmosphere is respectful rather than raucous.
