And the power just went out for some reason…. @AEPOhio
Jen House (@jenhouse) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@jennybrodie2 @AEPOhio We went and visited friends who had power. Home now, it’s only 80 here 🥵Luckily, my work has power and her daycare does too (she was there today so she wasn’t here when it was heating up). I called begging to get her in tomorrow and they were able to squeeze her in!
Mark Machinski (@FakeWadeBoggs) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@AEPOhio A heads up would have been nice before cutting the power hundreds of thousands of people on intensionally!!!
Jeremy Baiman (@jeremybaiman) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
There is one house on the entire block that has power five hours into the latest @AEPOhio outage, because by some strange accident of history it is connected to the municipal grid instead. How is this possible? Is there really a separate grid and can we all get on it?
Dustin Pappalardo (@dustnpappalardo) reported fromLincoln Village, Ohio
I’m not buying the “storms” are responsible for the intentional power outage from @aepohio and shame on @andrewginther for supporting them. We barely had any rain yesterday. I’ll be called a conspiracy theorist now but proven right in six months about this.
Jeremy Baiman (@jeremybaiman) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
Another power outage on the south side. Hey @AEPOhio could we get some infrastructure upgrades or did that budget get moved to the “state legislature bribes” line item?
Paco Moreno (@pacodgr81) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@AEPOhio tried making a payment but bill matrix is down. When is it expected to be up and running again?
Pollo Ralph Lauren (@2426chris) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@AEPOhio doesn’t care about poor or minority areas of Columbus. While the wealthier parts already have an estimated time for restoring power, the other areas they’re “Assessing condition”
Jason Andre Streeter (@Gahanna_Buckeye) reported fromGahanna, Ohio
If you shut the power down @AEPOhio you owe me some money! It’s not a natural disaster! Go ahead a send “Louie the lightbulb” this way with my cash homie!!!
Jeremy Baiman (@jeremybaiman) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@thefrog1394 @AEPOhio Wow! Is there a comparison out there somewhere of rates and downtime? I mean if they’re similar and the cost isn’t astronomical I’d like to support a publicly run utility instead of the corrupt megacorp.
Collin ἐγὼ εἰμί 🧦🥑 (@LastByzantine) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
I know the crews are working hard but @AEPOhio it’s not cool that it’s 6 hours and I’ve heard *nothing* about my outage. Map says nothing helpful.
Rob C (@RobFromSoCal) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@AEPOhio when attempting to check status of outage for me /my neighborhood, I get this. And have been for past hour plus? We're sorry. We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. We are working to resolve the problem as soon as possible. Please try again later.
Zac (@Zac_Coffey1) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
Second time in four hours that my power has gone out. @AEPOhio what ********
Nick Walker (@nw3) reported fromBexley, Ohio
@Bryan_Vehonsky @AEPOhio It sounds like this was a planned blackout or they can’t restore power until temps come down?
Pretty B. 🦋🖤✨ (@OoOSheCold) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
Okay my power NOT being back on til the 16th isn’t sitting well with me at tf all … @AEPOhio y’all have some SPLAININ ta do !!
Jeremy Baiman (@jeremybaiman) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@SenatorMeow @AEPOhio Cool. Thanks power company that has plenty of money to bribe legislators but not to maintain a functioning grid! Full public ownership of utilities when?
Jen House (@jenhouse) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
I am so sick of @AEPOhio. This is the third Saturday in a row we have lost power for hours in Italian Village. This time it’s also Christmas. Clearly there’s an underlying issue that requires more than a weekly patching.
MacKenzie Whitman (@MacKenzieB27) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
Power has been out for 9 hours and it’s supposed to get into the 90s today 👌🏻. Let’s get moving @AEPOhio
Lynne Warner-Steed (@SteedLynne) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@AEPOhio your map shows just a few customers without power in my area, but it looks like my entire 200 unit condo complex off Sancus is affected.
John Hykes (@jahykes) reported fromColumbus, Ohio
@AEPOhio Hey, we're not shown on the map and still down in Hilliard.

@AEPOhio so we’re just SOL without power on the 2 hottest days ? Why did the same houses get shut off 2 days in a row ?
Funky Fungi (@captwacksparrow) reported

@MarkHodder3 @pinion921 @AEPOhio Smartest answer, I didn’t see this but I gave the same answer basically. They’d rather the whole thing go down I guess.
one man union (@ppsuuc) reported
@AEPOhio Why is it that you prioritized Easton Mall's power but the residents near the area are left in the dark?
Zachary Ireson (@zireson) reported
@AEPOhio Why are you blaming this power outage on snakes? Literally snakes? Is a college intern whose never worked a day in the field running the account at this point? No. That’s not fair to college interns. Anyone who has worked in an Ohio field can tell you snakes are not that common.
Brian believes the 27 women (@brianmakeswords) reported
@jorge86947827 @AEPOhio @gooner017 I would be willing to bet that "KB" running their social media at the moment isn't an engineer who would be able to help fix the power grid by reallocating their attention. But I may be off-base.
Elijah Kim (@Sports_EZK) reported
Come on @AEPOhio , why won’t you bring my apartment complex back on line.
